Consulting Services is an internal consulting organization within the Västra Götaland Region, offering services to all regional operations in various areas of expertise; security, environment, project and change management, business development, communication, and administration. With great commitment and high collective competence, our 95 employees contribute to the region's development by relieving, supporting, and developing core operations. We are now looking for a new colleague in Information Security for the Security and Environment unit.

Job Description

As an internal consultant in Information Security, you will work on assignments for the region's various operations. It is a varied job with great opportunities for development, with a large employer with a very broad range of activities. Here you will have the opportunity to switch between strategic and operational assignments. You will become part of our consulting unit and an important part of the Västra Götaland Region's security work, which is highly prioritized.

In the role of Information Security Consultant, you will help support information security work within regional projects and carry out assignments for the various departments in accordance with the region's management system for information security and data protection.

Examples of assignment areas may include:

• Work with information mapping, information classification, and risk analysis, both as a coaching method support and as a method leader.
• Support projects and departments in the region's management system for information security and data protection.
• Support projects and departments in the work with data protection impact assessments.
• Develop the application of regional routines and concretize them in local action plans.
• Support in regional and local follow-up of information security work.

The consulting unit currently consists of an engaged team with broad competence in several professions and different backgrounds. Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant higher education, university college, or university education, or equivalent competence deemed equivalent by the employer. You have good experience and understanding of information security work and data protection; information classification and risk analysis, and systematic information security work. You are familiar with MCF's method support for information security and the GDPR. Experience with management systems in accordance with the SS-ISO/IEC 27000 series and good technical system understanding is an asset, and we prefer that you have previous experience of consulting work.

As a person, you are stable and well-organized and act in a way that creates trust. You enjoy switching between different tasks and assignments and can reprioritize when necessary. We believe you have good analytical and pedagogical skills and contribute to a good collaborative climate in your assignments.

The position requires a very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We have high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness and attach great importance to personal suitability.
